Workforce Development

The States of Minnesota and Wisconsin offer quality employment services through job training and career assistance for individuals who are out of work or who have suffered job loss for several reasons.
There are six CareerForce Centers throughout the Northland. They can be found in: Additionally, Minnesota Works is the State’s no-fee, searchable online jobs database for job seekers and employers.  Employers can post jobs for free, search the state's largest online resume database, use job match technology to find top candidates, save candidates' resumes to review and recruit later, and receive emails when resumes match their job criteria. Job seekers can view thousands of job listings from private employers statewide, upload resumes, apply for jobs online, manage and track their job search efforts, and sign up for email notification of new job listings.
